Evening Primrose blooming at dusk

Detailed Description

Pictured is most likely the tufted evening-primrose(Oenothera caespitosa), found blooming at dusk in the rocky area near our first campsite. The plant is dependent on moths for pollination, and the flowers usually only last for a short period of time, blooming at dusk and wilting by the morning.
