Example of output from the first tier of genetic screening

Example of output from the first tier of genetic screening for pallid sturgeon using a mitochondrial DNA single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) that is diagnostic for differentiating between Scaphirhynchus sturgeons (pallid and shovelnose) and paddlefish using free-embryo specimens collected from the Lower Yellowstone River.  Each species is homozygous for different alleles on the same gene and are easily separated.
