2017 fire perimeters logged by GeoMAC, continental United States. GeoMAC tracked 1441 unique perimeters for the entire country in 2017. Note - only the perimeters submitted by federal, state and local entities are recorded. A fire perimeter is the entire outer edge or boundary of a fire.
