Detailed Description

USGS scientist Nick Grim is measuring flood conditions on Codorus Creek near Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. Normal water levels are around 2.1 feet, and USGS measurements recorded levels near 9.4 feet following heavy rain in the area. Grim is pulling a tether boat, which has an Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler to measure the velocity, depth and distance across the channel.
