Global economic value for the Centrarchidae Family of fish.

Did you know the total economic value of inland fishing as food is over 10 billion dollars!?  

Centrarchidae family of fish, which has a 2-billion-dollar economic value globally, with 6 species at are recreationally fished. This family includes species like sunfish (500 million dollars), crappies (500 million dollars), and bass (400 million dollars). 

We teamed up with the USGS Midwest Climate Adaptation Science Center to create this data visualization.
