Workshops allow VDAP partners and collaborators to discuss best practices for a wide variety of situations. At this workshop in Garut, participants discuss how to use hazard maps to identify regions of concern for lava flows, ash fall, mudflows, and other phenomena, and in turn help communities understand, communicate, and mitigate the hazards of living near an active volcano.
