Detailed Description
The ruins of the Circle Creek Ranch homestead are located just outside of the Almo Entrance to the park near the Visitor Center. The California Trail passed through the City of Rocks area, beginning in 1843. Many wagon trains of early emigrants came through the area on the way to California and Oregon.
