June 2021 USGS Active Groundwater Level Network Animation

The USGS Active Groundwater Level Network includes about 20,000 wells that have been measured by the USGS or USGS cooperators at least once within the past 13 months. The animation shows snapshots of  daily water-level statistics in the network for June 2021. (Note: Due to technical issues, data from some sites were not included in the June 7, 2021 map display.)

This map animation was exported from the USGS Groundwater Watch application, which was decommissioned in 2022. Some Groundwater Watch functionality is available in the new USGS National Groundwater Conditions application.
