Detailed Description

Teddybear cholla (Cylindropuntia bigelovii) and creosote bush (Larrea tridentata) along Nevada Highway 164 near Cottonwood Cove (USDA, [2010b]; USDA, [2010c]). The pyramid-shaped peak of Copper Mountain in the southern Eldorado Mountains is in the distance.
