Shown as the light blue background polygon, this feature defines an area dense with stream braids depicted in darker blue lines. There are no explicit rules for how this polygon should be delineated; the data producer is to exercise their best professional judgement. This feature is for elevation reference. It is not used in the National Hydrography Dataset and has no National Hydrography Dataset equivalent.
