Lost Horse Valley from top of Ryan Mountain

This view from the top of Ryan Mountain is looking toward the northeast. The exfoliating granitic knobs and piles of boulders (inselbergs) are in the Hidden Valley area of Joshua Tree National Park. This view also shows the basin-and-range character of the western Mojave Desert.
