Detailed Description
During winter storms, rainwater flows quickly across unpaved roads in the South Cow Mountain area. This photo shows rainfall runoff moving over Mendo-Lake Road, carrying fine sediment downslope. These conditions are common on steep terrain and highlight how storm events can reshape roads and surrounding landscapes.
