Mount St. Helens monitoring station SEP during temporary installation of a 20 foot mast to restore data flow after heavy snow buried the site and cut off seismic data transmission.

The fiberglass hut that housed the electronics was crushed under the snow load and will need to be rebuilt summer 2017. The solar panel can be seen sticking out of the hut and is level with the top of the hut, which stands about 6 feet off the dry ground.
