Non operational sand filters filled with ash

Damage to stream-fed water treatment system on Arroyo Colorado, Villa la Angostura, Argentina, following the June 2011 eruption of Cordon Caulle volcano, Chile. Ash inundated the slow sand filter beds and rendered them inoperative.
