A water area that is an opening of the sea/ocean into the land, or of an estuary, lake, or river into its shore. BayInlets are used in the NHD to provide named areas for other hydrographic features, and must overlap Estuary, LakePond, SeaOcean, or StreamRiver. May be named feature.
