Paulina Creek Falls located just west of Newberry caldera.

1905 (approx.)

Detailed Description

Here the water of Paulina Creek, the only creek that flows year-round on the volcano, spills over the welded pyroclastic flow deposits (solidified sheets of hot ash and pumice) that were emplaced when Newberry Caldera formed explosively about 75,000 years ago.
