This picture shows a person on the bank of the river with a bridge behind the right side. The person is behind an acoustic Doppler velocity meter (ADVM). This ADVM is attached to a small trolley that has pucks that can move up and down an aluminum railway. The ADVM can be moved up and down this railway into the river and up to be serviced or cleaned out of the water.
