This picture shows a US P-6-200 suspended-sediment point sampler from the Mississippi River at Belle Chasse, Louisiana. The sampler is in the foreground with a LIST-AOBS point acoustic sensor and a turbidity sensor attached to the front and top of the point sampler, and cables are going from the sensors to the back of the point sampler and into a data logger which is inside a protective, waterproof plastic and attached to a modified fin. There is a white, dashed box that highlights the point acoustic sensor. There is a cable attachment and cable in the middle of the sampler. Towards the bottom left of the picture is a cleat and a small portion of the boat is showing. In the background, there is a large barge with shipping containers stacked on top.  The Mississippi River is between the point sampler and barge.
