Recovered river meanders along Kobuk River, Kobuk Valley National Park.  Dominant ecotypes include Riverine Water, Riverine Loamy Moist Alder or Willow Tall Shrub, Riverine Gravelly-loamy Moist Circumalkaline White Spruce-Willow Forest, and Riverine Loamy Wet Circumacidic Wet Sedge Meadow.
