Route for field-trip guide to a volcanic transect of Pacific Northwest

Map showing the major geologic provinces of Oregon. The trip starts in the Willamette Valley, then traverses the High Cascades and the Columbia Plateau. The basement of the Blue Mountains is then crossed to access the High Lava Plains, back to their intersection with the High Cascades.
