Sagebrush seedlings grown at Birds of Prey National Conservation Area
Detailed Description
Sagebrush seedlings grown at Birds of Prey National Conservation Area before outplanting to sites in November 2012 that were previously burned in wildfire summer 2012. USGS researchers studied how initial establishment of sagebrush seedling outplant in post-fire sites was influenced by seed sources - from different geographies, climates, and cytotypes - and management treatments - herbicide, mowing, and drill/broadcast seeding of desired herbs.
