Photograph of the lava lake at Kīlauea Volcano's summit, taken from the southeast rim of Halema'uma'u Crater. The view is towards the northwest, with the broad summit of Mauna Loa visible on the skyline. The lake is about 250 meters wide, across its longest axis.
