Detailed Description

A close-up of secondary green copper (Cu)-oxide mineralization at the Ann Mason Cu porphyry system, Yerington, NV. Height of the face is approximately 20 feet. Ann Mason is also included in the CMiO update. Ann Mason and other porphyry Cu deposits are elevated in the critical minerals selenium (Se) and telerium (Te). Copper itself, while not classified by USGS as a critical mineral, is also essential for the energy transition.
