Detailed Description
One of the portable seismometers deployed by the USGS following the 23 April 1992 Joshua Tree earthquake. These instruments recorded the Landers mainshock and early aftershocks, providing data that augmented recordings by the permanent Southern California Seismic Network (SCSN) (Photograph: Susan E.
