September 2024 Streamflow

September 2024 streamflow flow tiles show much of the Central and Northeastern U.S. saw dry conditions, while Alaska, Florida, and Puerto Rico saw wet conditions.

Streamflow conditions are quantified using percentiles comparing the past month’s flow levels to the historic record for each streamgage. During the month of September, much of the Central and Northeastern U.S saw dry conditions for states such as Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire. While others such as Alaska, Florida, and Puerto Rico saw wet conditions.
