Sequential Data Assimilation
Detailed Description
Sequential data assimilation illustrated over 7 time steps beginning with time = 0. At time 0, the model makes a prediction, then an observation is provided at time 1 and the model is updated to better match the observation. The model continues predicting values, then gets another observation in time step 4. Again, the model updates to reflect the new observation. This process continues for the full model cycle.
