Melting snow and sandstone cobbles on a weather slope of Brule Formation along the Sheep Mountain Table access road.  Note that unpaved roads in this remotely populated region should be avoided when wet or, as shown here in the winter, when frozen surfaces begin to thaw in the afternoon sun.
