Snow between two years effect on streamflow
Detailed Description
At the sites shown below in the Upper Colorado River Basin, there was a two-fold difference in the magnitude of SWE between 2011 and 2012, illustrating how changes in snowmelt can shape the timing and magnitude of streamflow, and subsequently, water availability. Use the buttons below to explore how differences in snow between two years affect streamflow dynamics measured by USGS streamgages.
