A map of the United States with each state represented by a timeseries chart. The chart shows the number of streamgaes in each state from 1890 to present. In general, the number of streamgages has increased through time in nearly every state. In a few cases, like LA, CO, ND,WY, and UT the number of gages peaked halfway through the timeseries and has declined since then.
