Detailed Description
The EFI-USGS River Chlorophyll Forecasting Challenge invites groups to submit forecasting models for total chlorophyll in three USGS Integrated Water Science Basins (Willamette River Basin, Illinois River Basin, and Delaware River Basin) to help groups of varying experience develop their forecasting skills and contribute to research on harmful algal blooms and water quality.
These data are provided in an online app where users can choose different time frames, streamgages, or driver data. In this case, we’re showing the recent chlorophyll predictions, observed chlorophyll leading up to the predictions, and the air temperature driver data, which informs the chlorophyll predictions.
