Expected trail degradation potential and trail cross-section profiles for

four categories of trail slope alignments ranging from fall-line trails (0-22) to contour aligned

side-hill trails (69-90). Trail slope alignments of 0-45 degrees create high potential for problems. Trail slope alignments of 46-90 degrees create low potential for problems.
