Two-dimensional representations of fluorescence - referred to as EEMs
Detailed Description
A two-dimensional representation of fluorescence is referred to as an EEMs (excitation-emission matrix) plot. As with absorbance, the response at any given wavelength can be related to concentration, while overall changes in the pattern of the EEMs is a function of DOM composition (credit: Tamara Kraus, CAWSC).
