U.S. National Arboretum Boxwoods

Important to the nursery/landscaping industry, green boxwood shrubs are shown in traditional hedges interspersed with azaleas at the U.S. National Arboretum in Washington, DC. Agricultural Research Service (ARS) researchers are studying boxwood blight and are working closely with the floriculture and nursey industry to develop methods for testing, controlling and mitigating the disease.
