USGS Booth at New Mexico Earth Sciences Day
Detailed Description
Staff from the New Mexico Water Science Center had the opportunity to meet with state legislatures, members of the public, and even Smoky the Bear to discuss some of the science being done through the NMWSC. Along with copies of recent reports, they brought a rain gage explain how precipitation data is collected and an e-tape to display how depth to groundwater is measured.
