USGS scientist ensures the accuracy of a new streamgage in the Great Salt Lake Basin

Detailed Description
A new streamgage is installed within the Great Salt Lake basin as part of a new $3 million monitoring program announced by the USGS, Bureau of Reclamation, the Utah Department of Natural Resources and the Office of the Great Salt Lake Commissioner. USGS scientist Noah Lebsack ensures the accuracy of the new equipment by manually measuring how fast the water is moving with an Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler.
