  • The Columbia-Snake region’s peak crop irrigation month is July, and peak withdrawals are over 53,000 millions of gallons per day (mgd)
  • The Midwest region’s peak crop irrigation month is July, and peak withdrawals are over 25,000 mgd
  • The Mississippi Embayment region’s peak crop irrigation month is August, and peak withdrawals are over 31,000 mgd
  • The Southwest Desert region’s peak crop irrigation month is June, and peak withdrawals are over 12,500 mgd
