This wide shot looks northeast, and shows the fissure that formed on the west flank of Pu‘u ‘Ō‘ō cone. The fissure extends roughly 1.5 km west of Pu‘u ‘Ō‘ō Crater, and nearly reaches the bottom of the photograph.
