3DEP FY23 Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) Instructional Webinar

This webinar provides an overview of the Federal Fiscal Year (FY) 23 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) solicitation and application process. The goal of 3DEP is to complete acquisition of nationwide lidar (IfSAR in Alaska) to provide the first-ever national baseline of consistent high-resolution elevation data – both bare earth and 3D point clouds – collected in a timeframe of less than a decade. Oversight for 3DEP is the responsibility of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Geospatial Program (NGP). However, 3DEP is a collaborative program and includes many Federal, State, Tribal and local governments as well as private sector and non-profit organizations who are working together to achieve the goal of national coverage of enhanced elevation data for the nation. The 3DEP BAA offers a fair and equitable process that allows Federal, State, local, Tribal, and private organizations to propose 3DEP lidar data acquisition partnerships.
