Detailed Description

Permanent Site: C1 West Transect; Depth: Meters (Feet); Distance from river mouth: 0.7 Kilometers (0.4 Miles); Pre/Post Dam Removal: 10 months post-dam removal; Lat/Long: 48.14525225,-123.57361291; Site Description: Substrate is entirely sand. Brown seaweeds are absent and only a few small red seaweeds remain (0:46, 0:56 seconds). Invertebrates are scarce with the most common species being the feather duster tubeworm Eudistylia vancouveri (0:50 seconds, and surrounded by red algae 0:36, 1:27 seconds). Two egg cases of the moon snail Euspira lewisii are seen at 1:09 seconds).
