Substrate is mainly gravel with some sand and cobble. No live seaweeds are present. Only the dead stalks of the perennial seaweed Pterygophora californica remain (0:19, 0:56, 1:26seconds). The feather duster tubeworm Chone aurantiaca that was abundant last year is scarce. Other invertebrates are scarce and none can be seen on video.
