Virtual Symposium: Informing Species Conservation in a Changing World
Science Addressing Climate Change and Climate Drivers for Decision-Makers
Please join us on March 29th and 30th for a virtual symposium hosted by the USGS Species Management Research Program showcasing climate-related species management science being accomplished across fourteen USGS Ecosystem Science Centers.
The symposium will feature 25 science presentations on climate change effects on species and their physical environment, and on their changing life histories and physiology. Speakers will also discuss applications, tools, and methodologies for climate effect analyses and forecasting to inform species management.
Please feel free to forward this announcement to others who may be interested.
To accommodate the diversity of time zones, the symposium will run from 1pm to 6pm EDT on Tuesday March 29th and 1 pm to 6:30 pm EDT on Wednesday March 30th.
