Decommissioning Groundwater Watch
In September 2022, the Groundwater Watch web application was shut down. Information about alternative resources is available on the Water Data for the Nation Blog.
In September of 2022, the USGS decommissioned the Groundwater Watch application. This web application has served groundwater level data and statistics since 2006.
In the coming years, modern software replacements of the unique groundwater functionality will be developed by USGS Water Mission Area. In the meantime, users can access other USGS products with similar functionality. Visit the Water Data for the Nation Blog for more details about the shutdown as well as a list of alternative products.
