National Digital Trails (NDT) project highlights
Hello! Welcome to the National Digital Trails Spring 2023 Newsletter. We have continued our development and outreach efforts this spring. We are finalizing viewshed analysis in TRAILS and hope to have it released this summer. In addition, we are making progress on the Trail Data Portal which will help to manage the digital trail aggregation process.
We presented at the 2023 American Association of Geographers meeting in March. In April, we were excited to attend and present at the International Trail Summit in Reno, NV. We had many fruitful conversations with folks working in trail management, design, and build. See the photo below of one of the Trail Assessment workshops we were fortunate to attend.
