Role Spotlight: Peer Reviewer
The Peer Reviewer role is the second role available to TNMCorps volunteers after they’ve gained some experience as a Standard Editor. This role is incredibly important for improving the quality of the structures data, yet a much smaller portion of the data has been edited by Peer Reviewers than by Standard or Advanced Editors.
Editing with Lists
The Holy Grail of authoritative sources is one that provides a current and comprehensive list of multiple structures, saving you time and effort during the editing process.
These Places Matter
Paducah’s visitor information centers promote tourism while preserving history.
Authoritative Source: Parcel Viewer
Use a web-based parcel viewer in combination with other sources to research information about a structure.
In Memoriam: TNMCorps Volunteer RIsailor
This moving memorial for RIsailor was written by his research partner and long-time TNMCorps volunteer, Cgibson.
DevOpp's Geography Quiz January 2025
Awhile back, TNMCorps volunteer DevOpp reached out to pitch the idea of a geography quiz for our newsletter. While not specifically structures-related, we agreed that it would be a fun way for the TNMCorps community to test their general knowledge of US geography!
