Snow has been visible in webcams at Mauna Loa summit over the past few days, during which time there has been summit winter weather alerts. This .gif is made from a sequence of images from the MLcam, which is located on the northeastern rim of Mauna Loa's summit caldera, Moku‘āweoweo. These images were taken today, January 13, from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm.
