Science and Decisions Center's Innovation Specialist, Sophia B. Liu, presents at Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS). 

Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) is dedicated to fostering the success of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM. On October 22, 2020, Sophia Liu participated in the 2020 SACNAS - The National Diversity in STEM Virtual Conference presenting in a session titled "Crowdsourcing and Citizen Science Techniques to Engage Communities in Climate Change and Natural Hazards Research at USGS." She also assisted in creating the pre-recorded video that included other USGS scientists speaking on citizen science projects at the USGS.
