Effective September 6, 2016, walk-in sales and services at the California Geological Survey map sales office (located in the U.S. Geological Survey offices) on Middlefield Road in Menlo Park will be discontinued.
For security reasons, the store will no longer be open during the day to public walk-in traffic. CGS staff will remain, and still do phone and mail-order sales.
CGS has operated the store, formerly known as the USGS Map Store, for more than a decade. The store sells publications of both CGS and USGS.
