High-quality lidar elevation data is a critical resource used in decision making for many economic and development issues in New Hampshire. Over the past several years, the USGS, the State of New Hampshire, and other Federal and local stakeholders have partnered to assemble QL2 lidar across the State for the USGS’s 3DEP program. In 2024, the final locations in the White Mountains were flown and will be available in the Summer of 2025. This will complete the Statewide 3DEP lidar coverage which is freely available for anyone to use.
