Members of the Subduction Zones in 4-Dimensions (SZ4D) initiative are pleased to present to you the first draft of the SZ4D implementation plan. The SZ4D community has been working to develop plans that will make their vision of coordinated research to understand the processes that underlie subduction zone hazards a reality.

This document is emphatically a draft - a concrete starting point for discussions with agencies and other potential partners.  The document is 162 pages long, but many readers may benefit from just reading the 7 page Executive Summary or watching this video

We are now seeking serious feedback on the full document and have three mechanisms for collecting thoughts: (1) a google form at the above link to the plan, (2) email to the steering committee at SC@sz4d.org and (3) public forums both online starting Nov. 10 and in-person at AGU.
