Website outage
On September 23-24, the USGS website content management system will be upgraded. During this timeframe, parts or all of the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory website may be temporarily inaccessible or may not appear/function the way it should.
The USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory will be able to access internal volcano monitoring datasets, and will continue to issue notifications regarding volcanic activity via the Volcano Notification Service.
Kīlauea summit livestreaming cameras will continue to be accessible on the USGS Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@usgs/streams
